- Open Xbox Settings (from the Dashboard, you have access to Settings from the profile icon by pressing the guide menu on the console).
- Head over to Online Safety & Family from the General Option, which appears on the left sidebar.
- Next, select Privacy & Online Safety, and then choose Xbox Live Privacy.
- After that, select Communication & Multiplayer from the View Details & Customise option in the left sidebar.
- Check for the “You can play with people outside Xbox Live” option, and choose Block/Allow accordingly.
- That’s it!
Note: New settings will be applied when you start a new game or when you restart your game after saving the settings.
