- First thing first, open your Google Map on your device.
- Then, Click on the Profile icon placed on the upper right corner of the screen.
- After that, tap on the “Location Sharing.”
- Then it will ask for your contact to share, or you can click on the new share.
- Now, select the contact and choose the time that you want to share your location with the person.
- Not to mention, you can also increase the time of sharing your location based on your preference or later
- You can increase the time for sharing the location.
- That’s it, It shows your current location through, and Google Map on your device also show you status.
- If you want to stop, then simply click on the stop button.
It is also easy if you share your location through link without using any social network such as WhatsApp. Therefore, if you want to share your location through a link via text message, then you can use the Google Maps location sharing using these simple steps.
- Starting with open your Google Map on your device.
- Then, Click on the Profile placed on the upper right corner of the screen.
- After that, tap on the “Location Sharing” and then selects link on Android and More option on iOS.
- Now, click on the “Copy” and link will copy simply paste/ Share the link where you want to share.
- Likely, you can set up the location-sharing time allow you to stop/ increase the time of real-time location sharing.
