Yesterday, Realme launched its new Realme X50 5G smartphone in China. This device comes with lots of new features and the latest technology. Redmi launched its new Redmi K30 5G smartphone. Today, we decided to compare the Redmi K30 5G and Realme 5G in terms of full specifications and price.
Performance
Regarding the mobile platform, the Realme X50 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC based on 7nm technology. This device has three storage options onboard: 6GB+256GB, 8GB+128GB, and 12GB+256GB storage. It runs the latest Android 10 based on RealmeUI (ColorOS 7) out of the box. It comes with the latest Gameboost 2.0 and 8-nm liquid-cold copper pipe 3.0.
The Redmi K30 is powered by Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G SoC, coupled with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of onboard storage. Moreover, it sports Qualcomm’s First Built-In Snapdragon X52-5G modem, boosted with a 12-antenna Design to Offer Dual-Mode (SA/NNSA) 5G Support in mmWave, TDD/FDD, and sub-6 GHz frequency bands.
Camera
In terms of the rear camera, the Redmi K30 5G Vertical Quad Camera Module is surrounded by a circular patch housing a 64MP F/1.76 Sony IMX686 + 8MP F/2.2 102° Ultra-Wide Angle + 5MP Macro Focal Length of 2cm + 2MP Depth. The Realme X50 5G has a quad camera setup using 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 Primary Sensor F/1.7, 12MP with an f/2.5 54cm focal length (up to 20x hybrid zoom), 2MP f/2.4 4cm focal length, and 8MP 119° FOV 15.7mm focal length.
For the front camera, both the Realme K50 5G and the Redmi K30 5G come with a Pill-shaped Dual Punch-Hole Selfie Camera. Realme X50 5G uses a 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471 and an 8MP f/2.2 105° FOV sensor. While the Redmi K30 5G uses a 20MP and a secondary depth sensor selfie camera.
Display
Realme X50 5G sports a 6.67-inch (2400x1080p) Full HD+ JDI LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz. While the Redmi K30 5G has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a 1080×2400 Pixel Resolution, it is also a 120Hz refresh rate device with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a dual punch-hole to achieve a 91% screen-to-body ratio. The Realme X50 5G sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes. The Redmi K30 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right-side power button.
Battery
The Redmi K30 5G is massively equipped with a 4500mAh battery and a 30W fast charge that can charge in 30 minutes, from 0% to 100%. While the Realme X50 has a 4,200mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 and 30W fast charging support. According to Realme Lab, the Realme X50 charges 0 to 70% in 30 minutes.
Sensors and connectivity
Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, a hall sensor, a proximity sensor, and an RGB light sensor. So, connectivity options in the smartphone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi), Smart 5G (5G/4G), 5G connectivity (SA/NSA), support for N1, N41, N78, and N79 (later N1 via OTA), and Bluetooth 5.0. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Realme X50 starting price tag for 8GB+128GB is 2499 yuan, the 6GB+256GB storage variant is 2699 yuan, and the last 12GB+256GB is priced at 2999 yuan.
