Microsoft released its major feature upgrade to Windows 11, which brings a lot of improvements to its File Explorer, Task Manager, and other things to boost productivity. This update improves the quality of using Windows and helps tablet users since it is now more optimized for tablet use.
There are many improvements, including drag and drop on the taskbar, new touch gestures and animation, live caption accessibility, and more. Task manager has also been updated to adopt dark mode, a new command bar, an Xbox controller bar, and efficiency mode. Windows 11 22H2 Build 22621Â is now available through the Windows Server Update Service and Azure Marketplace. The company last year moved from a semi-annual release cycle to a feature update once a year.
This update adds the New Smart Menu, which allows users to create an app folder and adjust the size of pinned app areas. A company says the update was 40% smaller to save time to install the upgrade. Overall, Windows 11 looks more consistent with the new interface and follows dark mode across the board.
