Meta officially announced their latest native app for macOS on their website. The app is currently in beta and is available globally. According to reports, the company has been working on this app since July last year. The app has been developed using Apple Catalyst, making it more efficient for system resources.

There are new visual changes that give users easier access to archived chats, starred messages, and calls. Initially, the app was only available through TestFlight Beta, but now it is officially available for everyone to download from the WhatsApp website.

To try it out, you do not need to join the beta program. You can simply download the DMG file from the official website or the cloud storage link provided below. Once you download the app, you can install it on your Mac and link your WhatsApp account by scanning the QR code using WhatsApp on your Android or iOS device. With this app, you can take advantage of all the features offered on the iOS app, and now it is available to a wider user base.

This app is optimized to run natively on Apple Silicon and is faster and more efficient. It also has a redesigned interface that looks and feels more like a native Mac app user experience. WhatsApp also promises to give users features such as an app sidebar for quick access to chats, calls, settings, and more, as well as drag-and-drop support for easier file sharing.

You may encounter some potential issues while using this app on your Mac, but fortunately, you can easily report any problems using the bug button located in the bottom left corner of the app. The company has yet to release a stable version. Thank you for following us.
