  • Start by connecting your device to your computer.
  • Choose transfer files via USB, and then open WatsGo.
  • Choose the WhatsApp backup option.
  • Choose the device for which you want to backup from the drop-down menu. And then click on backup.
  • After that, it will ask you to enable developer mode. And USB debugging.
  • How to enable Developer Mode
    • Open Device Settings, and then scroll down to “About Phone.”
    • Tap on Android Version, and then tap x7 on Build Number to enable Developer Mode.
    • After that, go to the main menu and go to Additional Settings.
    • Tap on the developer option, enable USB debugging, and verify or install via USB.
  • Now take a manual backup of your device.
    • Open WhatsApp, and tap on the triple dot menu on top to open the context menu.
    • Tap on Settings, and then go to Chat.
    • Choose Chat Backup, and then click Backup.
    • It takes some time to finish the chat backup.
