Every year, we have witnessed an incredible upgrade, which was remarkable with the TV display. Meanwhile, the manufacturer made them brighter, with better color accuracy, and filled them with richer features. At CES 2021, LG announced the latest 2nd generation OLED TV, so let’s take a closer look at the device and learn more about it.
What they have dealt with to call a TV display an incremental upgrade is a 2nd Gen OLED. First, the demo was performed on an LG 77-inch G1 OLED featuring an Evo 2 display panel. LG is one of the leading TV manufacturers, and it has been shipping TVs to consumers since the mid-2010s.

A major upgrade was done to a large part of the display, where they added new luminous elements for blue light. If you don’t know, blue light is the majority, followed by red, meaning these OLEDs can produce better color, resulting in less brightness loss when light passes through the second color filter. They have also bumped up the green, similar to what they have done with the red, making it the complete color circle of RGB (Red, Green, and Blue).
This year, LG Alpha 8 Gen 4 SoC will power the OLED TV industry. Where will we improve AI upscaling, object enhancement, straightforward subtitles, auto-genre selection, scene detection, and 5.2.1 channel mixing alongside auto-volume leveling, which allows you to keep constant volume while switching the audio between the sources? Moreover, it is also optimized for gamers in the game genre.

You need to enable the game mode to enhance the FPS by improving low lights, the RPG by emphasizing contrast, and the TTS mode for clarity and high-level brightness. On the other hand, the newly designed remote has NFS for quick pairing with the phone. You can cast, mirror, connect headphones, and more.
Not to mention, this is just a concept device, but it is likely to be available for consumption shortly. Thanks for being with us. We would like to know your valuable opinion and feedback.
