Techno launched its new smartphone, called the Techno Spark Go Plus. Infinix has already launched the Infinix Hot 8 in September 2019. Today we decided to compare both smartphones, the Infinix Hot 8 and the Techno Spark Go Plus. Both devices fall into the budget smartphone segment.
Performance
Techno Spark Go Plus comes with the latest MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. However, the chipset is a quad-core CPU set to clock a maximum of 2.0 GHz. Further, you can expand storage using a microSD card up to 128 GB. While the Infinix Hot 8 comes with the same MediaTek Helio A22, this device is also coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage onboard. Both devices can further be increased up to 256GB of storage by using a microSD card. Both devices give better performance while playing games and multitasking.
Camera
In terms of the camera, the Techno Spark Go PUS is a single rear 8MP primary with a dual LED flash. While the front has an 8MP 81°FoV selfie sensor along with a dedicated selfie flash. The Infinix Hot 8 has 13 MP with an f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/3.1″, 1.12µm, and PDAF with a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is an 8 MP with an f/2.0 front camera that uses video calls and takes beautiful selfies.
Battery
Techno Spark Go Plus comes with a massive 4000mAh battery. Moreover, the device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. While the Infinix Hot 8 comes with a non-removable Li-Po 5000mAh battery.
Display
Techno Spark Go Plus 6.25-inch Display With a 720x1600pixel resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It achieves an 89.5% screen-to-body ratio and has a maximum brightness of 480 NITS. Meanwhile, it has narrow bezels and a teardrop notch at the top of the display. While the Infinix Hot 8 comes with 6.52 inches and a 720 x 1600 pixels aspect ratio using a 269 ppi density and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Price
The Tecno Spark Go Plus was priced at Rs. 6300 ($88/€80). The dimensions of the device measured 166.7×75.8×8.4mm and were available in Hiller Purple and Vacation Blue colour variants. The device will be available on January 10 across retail stores and e-commerce websites such as Flipkart. The Infinix Hot 8 starting price tag is 6,999 INR for the 4GB+64GB storage option.
