The Best Samsung Good Lock Modules to Customise Galaxy Smartphones
Recently, Samsung rolled out various updates to Samsung’s Good Lock and its modules to modify almost every aspect of the user interface on Samsung devices, including the lock screen, notification shade, and menu items. The Good Lock module is exclusive to Samsung devices and is available in the Galaxy Store.
The app has been updated with a handful of fixes and improvements. The app has also been updated to Chinese and with Badge Logic. Ensure you have updated the app to the latest version to use the latest features. Also, the app is now available in more regions, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, Malaysia, and the Netherlands.
One-Hand Operation+
This is a gesture customization module to improve the user experience for those who prefer to use phones with one hand. On the one hand, Operation+ users can extend the gesture control to both sides of the screen, allowing users to assign up to three actions to each side. We recommend using this if you are used to Android’s gestures, and after this, you can assign a new set of actions on both sides. With customization, there are several gesture controls that you can try.
A straight swipe gesture can be used as a double action, including swiping up and down diagonally, which can be used to open the recent app menu and notification panel. Customize the width and position of the bar on the screen’s edge to activate the gesture control handle. There is also a long-swipe action to provide even more customization options. With the recent update, KeyCafe adds music functionality when you type, enhancing your typing experience. If you enjoy melodic typing sounds, then this update is for you. Additionally, there is an option to disable the sound from playing immediately when selecting a touch sound.

Samsung’s devices offer a powerful camera, and to complement this, you can use the Nice Shot Module, which adds a delete button to the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the screen after taking a screenshot, eliminating the need to pull down the notification shade to delete unwanted screenshots.

QuickStar
This feature came with the previous version of Android, but it disappeared. With this, you can tweak your system’s UI. This is handy if you want to customize the status bar, including customization and hiding icons. Several icons always appear, like the Alarm Clock and the Persistent icon, which you can hide to declutter your status bar. You can also force the status clock on the right side to save more space on the left. You can create your Quick Panel for customization options.

If you missed the back-tap option feature on Pixel 7, this feature will enable a double-tap on the back of the device to perform specific actions. Currently, there is no default back-tap feature, but with RegiStar, you can add back-tap actions on your device to the RegiStar module. You can also use it to customize the settings, rearranging the items based on the user’s preferences.
This feature is called sensitivity, and you can adjust this function from low to high. To enable this, head to the RegiStar app and tap the Back Tap action section. From there, check the sensitivity option at the bottom and choose the sensitivity according to your preference.

To access this, head to the Good Lock and tap on the Life Up category. There, you will find Catch and Enable this. NavStar
You can also call this Customise Navigation Bar Height, as it sounds. The navigation bar size can be adjusted to three levels for a more comprehensive screen experience. Enable the NavStart settings in the NavStar Module to adjust the height of the navigation bar according to your preference. To use this, open the NavStar Module and then tap on the button section that appears on the left bottom. Then, tap on the toggle to enable NavStart settings and adjust the height of the navigation bar.
The theme park
With this, you can do many new things regarding customization. That includes the background color of the brightness slider and other parts of the system’s UI. Open Theme Park and head to the Quick Panel in the middle of the bottom bar. From there, tap on “Create New.” When you see two circles on the brightness bar, tap on them and select a color for each. You can also change the color palette of your device.
This makes it easy to change the app’s color. To do this, open Theme Park and tap the “More” option on the top right. Then, tap “Change Colour Palette”; you can customize it by selecting a color and adjusting the saturation. Finally, press the “OK” option.
Galaxy to Share: Good Lock Module to share custom settings with our Samsung device
Samsung released another major Good Lock Module, which allows syncing Samsung’s device settings to other Samsung devices. This was first announced during the OneUI 5.0 announcement back in October this year. The Good Lock platform has been updated to v1.0.22.0, and the new module will be called Galaxy to Share. With this, users can customise their devices and change the system settings to a deeper extent. It currently supports the Key Café, Theme Park, LockStar, NavStar, MultiStar, QuickStar, ClockFace, Home Up, One Hand Operation+, and Sound Assistant apps.
In the future, it is expected that the Camera Assistant Good Lock app will be compatible with the Good Lock Galaxy Share update. This comes in quite handy when you have multiple Samsung devices; however, this module is available in selected countries. This is region-locked and has not been launched as a standalone app, so it may not be available on your Galaxy smartphone. There are various Good Lock modules available, and these improve the user experience while using the Samsung device. Samsung Good Lock Galaxy To Share (GTS) allows you to sync wallpaper, theme, AOD, launcher, and settings with your other Galaxy devices. This app is currently available on the Galaxy Store.
Your Good Lock needs to be updated, and the device should be running One UI 5.0, running on Android 13, and other features are being developed. Samsung is currently rolling out this to a handful of Good Lock Contributors; since this is in the beta phase, users can expect minor glitches, and some functionality might not work.
Samsung One Hand Operation + v5.8.19.0
Samsung released a new update for the Good Lock Module, One Hand Operations+, apart from fixes and improvements. This update adds new capabilities to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Series and Galaxy Tablets. The app is now more stable, and the company fixed the Quick Tool icon visibility issue, Flashlight brightness issue, and widget layouts. Notably, this update primarily aimed to enhance the experience for the Galaxy Fold and Tablet.
The update comes with Android 13-based One UI 5.0 support, and One Hand Operations+ v5.8.19.0 now allows users to hide or show the taskbar on the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Tablet. Also focuses on making its stock apps compatible with One UI 5.0. Good Lock is limited to some regions, due to region lock but you can use it on any Galaxy Smartphone because this is a stand-alone app. With this app, you can enable on-hand usability on your Galaxy Device. Which is way more customizable, and this update is likely to take some time during its initial rollout for all eligible devices.
