Recently, Vivo launched its new smartphone in India, called the Vivo S1 Pro. Now, we decided to compare Realme X2 vs Vivo S1 Pro vs Redmi Note 8 Pro. Both devices come with a quad-camera setup on the rear. The Realme X2 comes with a Snapdragon 730G, the Vivo S1 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with the latest MediaTek Helio G90T. Performance

Realme X2 comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G with Adreno 618 GPU, which gives more performance while playing games. It runs the latest Android Pie out of the box, based on ColorOS 6.0.1. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a MediaTek G90T SoC coupled with 6/8GB of RAM and UFS 2.1 and 128GB of Onboard Storage. It also offers a dedicated microSD card slot exclusively for Indian buyers. Both devices give better performance while playing games and multitasking. 

Camera

In terms of the camera, the Realme X2 comes with a quad camera setup with a 64MP camera using a Samsung sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle camera with an f/2.3 lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.4 lens. The Vivo S1 Pro comes with a device having a quad camera setup with a unique Diamond camera module housing a 48MP f/1.8 primary + 8MP f/2.2 wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 super macro + 2MP f/2.4 along with the LED flash.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor as the primary sensor and an 8MP Ultra-Wide with a 120° + 2MP Depth + 2MP Macro and a focal length of 2 CM.

In terms of the selfie camera, both the Realme X2 and Vivo S1 Pro have a 32 MP selfie camera with an F/2.0 aperture. The Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 20MP selfie shooter hidden inside a waterdrop notch. It also allows you to record a 960 fps slow-motion video. 

Battery

Realme X2 comes with a massive 4,000mAh battery and VOOC 4.0 33W fast charging support. You can easily charge your mobile in just half an hour, and you can enjoy games with massive battery performance. While the Vivo S1 Pro has a massive 4500mAh battery using an 18W dual-engine fast charger, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a massive 4000mAh battery bundled with an 18W fast charger in the box.

Display

Realme X2 has a 6.4-inch (16.2-cm) Waterdrop Notch, also known as a Dew-drop Fullscreen display panel, which helps achieve a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio. It has a super-AMOLED display panel with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. To protect our eyes, it features low-brightness, flicker-free eyecare and the latest Goodix 3.0 Flash In-Display Fingerprint Sensor: 0.36s Instant Unlock.

Vivo S1 Pro has a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED Display with a 108×2340 pixel (Full HD+) resolution. Its U-shaped teardrop notch on the top of the display helps to achieve a 90% screen-to-body ratio. While the Redmi Note 8 Pro Sports

6.53-inch Full HD+ LTPS LCD Display with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution. Similarly, the Waterdrop Notch helps to achieve a 91.4% screen-to-body ratio. The display panel is well protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Colour

Vivo S1 Pro is available in Dream White, Jazzy Blue, and Mystic Black. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is available in Gamma Green, Halo White, Shadow Black, and Electric Blue. Realme X2 is available in pearl blue, pearl green, and pearl white.

Price

The Realme X2’s starting price tag is Rs. 16,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant has a price tag of Rs. 18,999. This device comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it comes with a price tag of Rs. 19,999.

Vivo S1 Pro’s starting price in India is ₹19,990 and will be available from January 4th across all major offline stores and e-commerce platforms, such as Vivo Store India, Amazon, and Flipkart. The Redmi Note 8 Pro price tag is Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, and Rs. 17,999 for the last 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version.
