- Open Windows File Explorer on Windows 11
- Then click on the vertical three-dot menu and then select options
- After this, uncheck the checkbox for “Decrease Space between Items (Compact View).
- Click OK to confirm your action
- Next, on Windows 11 File Explorer, right-click on blank space
- Click on Compact View to restore the Windows 10 File Explorer.
How to Restore Windows 10 File Explorer to Windows 11 using Regedit
- Open Regedit by opening Windows Run (Shortcut key: Windows + R) then type Regedit.
- After opening the Regedit and then click yes for UAC (User Account Control).
- Follow the following navigation HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
- Right-click to create the new DWORD 32-bit value on the right-panel
- Now rename the Value as Start_ShowClassicMode or SeparateProcess and then set the value to 1.
- Then, it’s ok to confirm your action after completing it, restart your PC.
