Samsung rolled out a new update to its RegiStar, a Good Lock Module that allows you to customize your device’s home settings, search options, history, backtaps, and more. This module makes your device more customizable and easy to use. The update is available for all Android 13-based One UI 5.1 or higher Galaxy smartphones. The update is rolling out gradually, which could take some time before it reaches all users.

This update updates the Back Tap functionality. With this, you can double or triple-tap the device’s rear panel. Apart from this, there is a new option called Gates. With this, you can limit the back-tapping action in certain situations, such as a low battery or power-saving mode. This will allow users to customize their smartphones in many ways.

RegiStar Good Lock Updates with Back Tap Action feature adds modes and routines for quickly launching the valuable feature.

This module allows you to customize the back tap, long-press side key, and firmly tap screen features. Now, the company is expanding RegiStar’s functionality to include modes and routines. You can now use the back tap, long-press side key, and vigorously tap features to trigger modes and routines. However, certain features are limited for some tasks, but the company is looking to expand the new functions with the update to make the app more comfortable for users.

What’s New: Changelog What’s new: v.1.o.39 Provides a ‘Back-Tap Action’ feature as a Modes and Routines action. Fixed bugs

The company also updates the RegiStar and adds the ability to use a back-tap action feature as Modes and Routines action. It also enhances the back-tap feature to deliver a fantastic experience. Users who don’t like the back-tap functionality can turn off the back-tap action feature using the modes and routine apps. This gives users more control over how and when back-tapping works since RegiStar offers deep-level customization, and its options are now integrated into the Modes and Routines app.

The update fixes bugs, improves the experience for a more stable experience, and improves the performance of the RegiStar Good Lock Modules. The company didn’t share details about this update, although Samsung is ahead of other smartphone manufacturers regarding customization options and features.

Users can update their Samsung RegiStar Good Lock Modules from the Galaxy Store. To do this, open the Galaxy Store and tap on the app’s upper-left corner menu. From there, choose the update option to update RegiStar. The update is available; tap on install. The weight of the update is 3.88 MB. Users can also download the latest RegiStar modules from this app to install the update on their device.

Once you update your app, you can use the new back-tap feature. To do this, open the RegiStar app and tap the back button. Then, choose the action you want to perform, like a double or triple tap on the back of your phone. To do more, use other Good Lock Modes that offer new features that you can use to customize your phone.

You can do a lot of things with this module. For example, you can enable the back tap for specific actions. Like with the double-tap, you can open the camera, triple-tap for turning on the flashlight or any other apps or services with the tap on the back of the device to open your favorite apps, or triple-tap to take a screenshot or launch Google Assistant. You can also show notifications by double-taping or triple-tapping on the device’s back panel. This RegiStar update is one of the great ways to customize your smartphone and make it more user-friendly according to users’ needs.
