Recently, Realme launched its new mid-range premium smartphone, called Realme X2. This device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, just like the Redmi K20, which launched in July 2019. Both devices come under 20K in India. The Realme X2 comes with a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 and 33W fast charging support, while the Redmi K20 comes with the same 4,000mAh battery but 20W fast charging support. The Redmi K20 has a 20MP pop-up selfie camera, but the Realme X2 comes with a 32MP selfie camera.
Performance
Realme X2 comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G with Adreno 618 GPU, which gives more performance while playing games. It runs the latest Android Pie out of the box, based on ColorOS 6.0.1. While Redmi K20 runs with the latest Android 10 based on EMUI 11 out of the box. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. This device is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of different storage options. While Realme X2 comes with 4GB/6GB/8GB and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage onboard. Both devices give better performance while playing games and multitasking.
Camera
In terms of the camera, the Realme X2 comes with a quad camera setup with a 64MP camera using a Samsung sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle camera with an f/2.3 lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with an F/2.0 aperture. While the Redmi K20 uses a 48 MP Sony IMX582 sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 13 MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 124.8-degree FOV, and the last 8 MP with an f/2.4 aperture, the Redmi K20 Processor Snapdragon 730G does not support 4K videos at 60 fps. Realme X2 comes with a 6.4-inch (16.2-cm) Waterdrop Notch, also known as a Dew-drop Fullscreen display panel, which helps to achieve a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio. It has a super-AMOLED display panel with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. To protect our eyes, it features low-brightness flicker-free eyecare and the latest Goodix 3.0 Flash In-Display Fingerprint Sensor: 0.36s Instant Unlock. While the Redmi K20 comes with a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels resolution) HDR AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is a 91.9 per cent and 403 ppi pixel density. To protect the screen, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Price
The device initially comes in three colour options: Pearl Green, Pearl White, and Pearl Blue, and sets an id-premium segment price for 44GB+64GB: ₹16,999, 6GB+128GB: ₹18,999, and 8GB+128GB: ₹19,999. They will be available starting at noon on the Realme Store and Flipkart. The Redmi K20 price is Rs 19,999 or Rs 22,999. This device comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of different storage.
