- Suppose you received a DM on Instagram.
- Open Instagram and head over to your profile.
- Visit the profile of the person, not yours.
- Tap on the Three-Vertical Mene
- Placed in the upper-left corner of the app.
- Next, click on Restrict from the drop-down menu.
- After that, tap Dismiss in the pop-up window.
- That person will no longer be seen in the primary section of DM or the general section of DM.
