- Download Microsoft’s Windows 11 Creation Tool.
- Launch the Windows 11 installation media, then check the checkbox for Accept Terms and Conditions.
- Now, select the language and edition, or use the existing settings of Windows 11.
- Then choose the USB flash drive, then click Next.
- Then start by selecting the USB drive, and then the system will download and make your USB flash drive bootable.
Bootable Windows 11 24H2 using the Rufus Tool
We will be creating USB bootable media using Rufus; here’s how.
- Download and install Rufus.
- Launch Rufus, then click on the Select button on Boot Selection to choose the Windows 11 24H2 ISO file.
- Next, click on the image option to choose Standard Windows 11 Installation.
- Now, click on Start.
- It then opens a Windows User Experience pop-up. If your PC doesn’t have TPM, Secure Boot, or more than 4GB of RAM, check the first checkbox.
- If you don’t want to continue with your Microsoft account, then check the checkbox for “Remove Requirements for an Online Microsoft Account.”

How to do a clean Windows 11 24H2 installation from a USB

- Power on your PC, then press the boot key.

- Restore the backup. If you have created the backup, then click on Restore from this PC, or if you want to make a new one, then click on More Options, then choose Setup a New PC.
- If you have already set up the backup, then restore it using your Microsoft account.
- Now skip the Customise Your Experience part, then skip Linking Your Phone, and click on Only Save Files to This PC for OneDrive Backup.
- After this, click on the Next and Not Now buttons for the browser’s data sharing with Microsoft.
- Skip the PC Game Pass Prooption, and No Thanks for Microsoft 365 Setup.

How to install Windows 11 24H2 without losing data
You can reinstall Windows 11 24H2 by mounting an ISO file to start the installation process.
