C. Sylendra Babu, an Indian police officer, has made a video to call for youngsters “to uninstall all computer games forever” because it has adverse effects on their mental and physical health, and this video has gone viral throughout the gaming community in India. He serves as Director-General of Police of the Railway (GRP) in Tamil Nadu. He is active on his social media platforms, and he has 85 thousand followers on Twitter. Two days ago, C. Sylendra Babu tweeted a video of him talking about gaming culture in India, receiving over 700 retweets and almost 3K likes.

An Indian officer asks youngsters to uninstall games like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire, and this is going viral on Twitter.

According to C. Sylendra Babu, the people who spend the most time gaming daily will not be focused on their studies or work, and their lives will be destroyed. After this, he asks his followers to delete all the games they are playing, like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. He also asks them to play games like soccer, cricket, football, or volleyball instead of video games.

No one in the police force thinks this way because the Mumbai police have already used PUBG Mobile on their Twitter to promote people wearing helmets while driving and staying inside their homes during the situation across the globe because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2019, PUBG Mobile faced a callous time in India because they banned it in a few places, but nowadays, everyone is more open-minded, especially when they see people who make a gaming career by being streamers and pro players. So, there have been gaming tournaments with enormous prize pools directly similar to sports tournaments. The PUBG Mobile World League Tournament will start next month with a prize pool of $850,000; seven Indian teams will also be in this tournament. PMIS 2020, with a prize of 50 lakhs, is also in progress.
