How to change Gmail signature on Desktop

You can perform it on your desktop using any web browser, and It is quite simple so follow the steps carefully.

  1. First thing first, Click on the “setting” icon placed on the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Then, click on the “See all Settings” appear down below the setting menu.
  3. After that, Head over to the “General Tab.”
  4. Scroll a bit, and you will find the “Signature” menu.
  5. That’s it, click on the “Create New” button or edit based on your preference.
  6. It instantly appears the pop-up windows for your Signature Text, Simply write your Signature and click on “Create.”
  7. Therefore, The signature will appear on the signature dialogue box. You can use the edit “pencil icon” to edit further or delete using “trash” icon.
  8. Once you finish, click on the “Save Changes” placed on the bottom of the menu.

Additionally Customization

Additionally, You can create more signature using the “Create New” button alongside you can further customize such as different fonts includes bold and italics. Meanwhile, you can use more than one signature such as you can set the signature for default or can also be used for a specific type of email such as “For New Email” or “One Reply/Forward” category.

Therefore, you can use the drop-down menu to select for a specific category. Therefore, you can also use the signature before or after the quoted text. Once you have set up you can simply click on the “Save Changes” that you will find on the bottom of the menu.

How to change Gmail Signature on Gmail Mobile App

This method will work on boh Android and iOS mobile application, So follows the steps carefully so you would not find any difficulty.

  1. Open your Gmail application on your device.
  2. Then, Click on the “Burger Menu” or refer as “three bar” menu placed on the upper left corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down a bit until the “Setting” menu, Click to open the “Settings.”
  4. Then, select your “Gmail” account that you want to change or create the signature.

There you will find the “Signature settings” or “Mobile Signature” on Android and iOS respectively. The pop-up dialogue box appears, Simply type your signature that you want to add. That’s it, Once you finish, clicking “OK” to save.
