How to hide programmes from the Control Panel in Windows 10
There were multiple ways to do it. Here is the step-by-step instruction to follow.
- Open Registry
- You can use Windows Search to find the Registry Editor.
- For 32-bit Windows users
- Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
- After that, click on Software and then Microsoft.
- Under that, click on Windows and then the Current Version.
- Last, scroll down to select Uninstall.
- FOR 64-BIT Windows Users
- Â Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
- Then, click on Software and then WOW6432NODE.
- Select Microsoft and then Windows.
- Now, the current version.
- Last, scroll down to select Uninstall.
- Now, simply locate the folder of that particular application that you want to hide.
- Then, right-click on the right side and select “DWOR.”
- Name it System Component and set the value to 1.
- Now, restart your computer.
