How do I install Google Sans font on any Samsung Galaxy devices?

Samsung has recently released its OneUI 3 based on Android 11. The new UI brings a lot of major customisation features. Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy Theme Store allows users to change the font of the device, although you can install Google Fonts on your Samsung device.

Pre-Requirements

  • Your device should be running on OneUI 2.0+ (Android 10 or later).
  • The method was tested on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 running on Android 11.
    • You can test on your Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 FE, and Galaxy Note 10.

Install the Google Sans font for Samsung Galaxy on OneUI 3.0.

  • Install ZFont 3 from the Google Play Store.
  • Open the ZFont 3 app, and then download and install the “Circle Rounded” font.
  • You might find it at #246.
  • After that, head over to the “Font” setting on your device.
  • Navigate to Settings > Display > Fonts.
  • Select to change the font to “Circle Rounded.”
  • Note: Before making changes, ensure you have a proper backup of your settings.
  • You can perform this by navigating to Settings > Account & Backup > Backup & Restore > Backup Data > Choose “Settings.” After taking a backup, revert to the settings and set them to default.
  • Now, uninstall the “CircleRounded” front end from the device app.
  • Navigate to Device Settings > Apps.
  • Open Filemanager or you can also use “File by Google.”
  • Launch File Manager and then enable “Show Hidden Files.”
  • You can find “Show Hidden Files” in the File Manager settings.
  • Delete the circlerounded.apk from your internal storage.
  • You can find the folder by navigating to Internal Storage > zFont folder > ONE_UI.
  • Download the latest circlerounded.apk, and then copy and paste the “Circerounded.apk” file into the ONE_UI zFont folder.
  • Download the Circerounded.apk file.
  • Now, launch the ZFont app and then install Cicerounded.apk.
  • That’s it. Restore the settings by navigating to Settings > Backup & Restore > checking “Settings” > Restore.

There are a lot of fonts available for Samsung devices, which you can use with the help of zFonts. All you have to do is download a font, and you can change it from the Font menu in the settings. You can navigate to “Settings > Display > Font” and change the font.
