BlueStacks is one of the most popular Android emulators for playing games. However, with players being banned across BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) and CoD Mobile (Call of Duty: Mobile), many are migrating to other emulators like LDPlayer. One of the best choices is Tencent’s Gameloop.

Gameloop is more optimised and offers better performance compared to other Android emulators, like LDPlayer. It delivers a high-quality gaming experience. Today, I’ll provide an in-depth guide to the best Gameloop settings. So, without further ado, let’s check it out.

Boost the performance of Gameloop

Gameloop is one of the best emulators to play games, and even players with low-end PCs can enjoy gaming on Gameloop by improving their skills and levels to reach the top tier.

  • Operating Systems: Windows 10, 8.1, 8, and 7/Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • CPU: dual-core from Intel or AMD at 1.8 GHz or quad-core from Intel or AMD at 1.8 GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8600/9600GT, ATI/AMD Radeon HD2600/3600, NVIDIA GeForce 8600/9600GT, or ATI/AMD Radeon HD2600/3600
  • Memory/RAM: At least 3GB of RAM or 8GB of RAM
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c/Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 1GB of free storage/4GB of free storage
  • Internet connection speed: 500 KBps/1 MBps or broadband

Download games from the Google Play Store

On Gameloop, don’t use the marketplace to download and install games on your system; instead, use the Google Play Store. Here’s how to go about it:

  1. Launch Gameloop.
  2. From the navigation bar, navigate to the “Me” section.
  3. You’ll find the “Google Play Store” there. Click on it, and it will start the installation.
  4. Once installed, sign in with your Google account and search for your game.
  5. Once you’ve finished downloading the game, launch it, and it will download additional resource files, including the engine and Google Play Game.
  6. That’s all!

Fix: Google Play Store Isn’t Visible on My Gameloop

It might not be possible because of the unavailability in your region. Gameloop doesn’t show you the Google Play Store on your device. For this, you need to change your country on Gameloop.

  1. Launch Gameloop and then select the hamburger menu from the top navigation bar.
  2. Go to settings, then basic, and change the language to English, the country to USA, and uncheck the “Auto run at startup” checkbox.
  3. That’s all there is to it; save it and relaunch it.

Best Gameloop Options

Open Gameloop settings from the top bar by clicking on the horizontal triple lines.

Basic:

  • Uncheck: Auto-run startup
  • Uncheck/Check (Depends on your preference: hide the advance watermark.)
  • Check: Best Fixed Window Ratio
  • Language: English
  • Country: US

Engine:

  • Screen Rendering Mode: Choose OpenGL/DirectX or Auto based on your preference (some GPUs work better with OpenGL and some with DirectX, so test the game with each and choose what fits you best).
  • Check: Enable the rendering cache
  • Uncheck: Force global rendering cache
  • Check: Prioritise discrete graphics cards.
  • Check: Enable rendering optimisation.
  • Uncheck: Enable vertical Sync
  • Anti-aliasing: Off (This takes unnecessary RAM; it’s good for PC games but doesn’t seem helpful with mobile games.)
  • Memory: 4096 MB (do the same as your RAM, or do it accordingly).
  • Processor: 4 (Do the same as your processor cores, or do it accordingly.)
  • Resolution: 1280×720 (do the same as your monitor resolution, or do it accordingly).
  • DPI: 240 or 320

Game:

  • First, choose the game and set the game graphics accordingly.
    • Game Definition: 720P for Low End, HD 1080 for High End (You can choose according to your graphics driver or do it accordingly.)
    • Graphics Quality: Smooth
    • FPS: 30 for low-end, 40/60 for medium, and 90 if the game supports it.

Renew Your Graphics Card

It is important that you have updated your GPU driver to the latest version. Head over to your GPU manufacturer’s support page and download the latest version. Also, you can update your GPU driver from the software itself.

Close All Background-Running Apps

If you keep encountering errors, then you should probably quit background applications that might be consuming a lot of your computer resources. Before launching Gameloop, ensure you have closed all existing background applications.

Enable virtualization

If your PC is unable to handle Gameloop, try playing on Gameloop by enabling virtualization.

  1. Turn on your computer and enter the startup BIOS by pressing F2 (the function key to enter the BIOS may differ).
  2. Next, navigate to system configuration and enable virtualization there.
  3. When you’re finished, exit by saving your changes.
  4. That’s all!

Power Plan Mode Should Be Set to High Performance

  1. Go to the Control Panel and select Power Options.
  2. Next, click the Change Plan Settings link, and then click High Performance.
  3. That’s all there is to it; confirm your changes.

Set Gameloop as a high priority in Task Manager.

  1. Open the Taskbar and make sure GameLoop is active.
  2. From the Details tab, look for AndroidEmulator.exe and AppMarket.exe.
  3. Right-click on it and select Set Priority, then change the priority to high.
  4. That’s all!
