Samsung Galaxy Series users have recently reported trouble connecting to WiFi networks. Despite this issue, device performance and battery life are well-rounded thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy. The WiFi connection issue is probably a software issue that will be fixed with a future update.

Until then, there is a workaround for this. Most Galaxy S23 Series users with WiFi connectivity issues have been using WiFi 6 connections. People using WiFi 6-enabled routers have been experiencing this problem, and their Galaxy S23 Series devices constantly switch to mobile data even when the WiFi connection is active and working well with other devices.

Although the Galaxy S23 Series has pretty stable software, this issue has only been encountered by individuals. For Galaxy S23 Series users (Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra), simply switching the WiFi toggle on or off whenever you face this problem with your phone or switching to mobile data could help.

We know it is frustrating. Samsung is reportedly working on this issue, and this is just a temporary solution until Samsung rolls out a proper fix. The company has started rolling out the March update, which is unavailable in every region. Until then, if you do not want to switch your WiFi on or off whenever it connects to mobile data, you can also turn off WiFi 6 on your router.

Every router has its own set of settings on its unique interface. To turn off WiFi 6, you must dig into your router settings. However, using an ASUS router, you can find WiFi 6 settings under the Wireless Menu (WLAN). Under Advanced Settings, you can turn on or off WiFi 6 (802.11ax/WiFi 6) Mode.

You can use the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band until you receive an update on your device. This fix works for all Galaxy S23 models, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
