Halo released Infinite, and some players have reported the DCAT resource bug error message “DCAT resource not found.” Because of this, players have encountered the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). It is not a common problem; the following reports suggest it mostly occurs with PC and Xbox players.
How to Fix the DCAT Resource Not Found
Before proceeding with troubleshooting, ensure that you have updated your game to the latest version. With the recent hotfix, this issue has been addressed. After updating, if you still have an issue, you can follow the following instructions mentioned below:
- Open Steam, and then head over to the Steam Library.
- Next, right-click on Halo Infinite
- From there, choose the Local Files tab.
- After that, it opens a new window, and from there, select the “Verify Integrity of Game Files” option.
- That’s it!
If you’re playing Halo Infinite on the Xbox console or with Xbox Game Pass on your PC, then restarting can fix this. After restarting, check if there are any pending updates. Otherwise, check if the firewall is restricting access, or you can try reinstalling the game.
