Samsung announced One UI 6 Beta a few months ago, and Android 14 is approaching. The company announced One UI 6 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S23 Series, which fixed critical bugs. Samsung has pushed out a smartphone update to roll back to the previous beta version, One UI 6/Android Beta 3, for the Galaxy S23.
It is based on Android 14-based OneUI 6 Beta 3, which brings significant improvements and new features and apps to the system. This includes redesigned video players with a new layout, features, and buttons. It is said to be made available on stable by October or November, typically for the previous year’s flagship line, while reviewing the final version of the update for the Galaxy S23 models. Nevertheless, Samsung is also expected to release One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy A54 later this year.
OneUI 6 Beta 3
The update does not have a massive upgrade; all it brings is bug fixes and the September 2023 security patch. Beta continuously expands to more countries, including Europe, the United States, South Korea, Germany, India, and more.
In addition, the video players also get enhanced speed controls, which let users choose between several playback speeds from 0.25x to 2.0x. This gives the controls a dedicated button, giving you easier access than the previously used slider. However, there are some known issues with OneUI 6.0 Beta 3. Additionally, there is also a slight blur effect on the notification shade.
A new play button has also been moved to the middle of the screen. All buttons have similar functions and are grouped. Also, the media panel will open in the expanded view by default, with a panel last in the expanded or collapsed state.
Beta 3 also introduced minor changes, such as contours and emoji, and defaulted to an expanded view of the Media Panel with the ability to remember its last date. However, there are some laggy animations that Samsung has said will address this issue in the future. Even there is an added contour emoji in OneUI 6 Beta 3. The Beta 3 update should start rolling out to more countries in the coming weeks.

We will share the OneUI 6 Beta 3 OTA download zip from the stable to Beta 1. Once it is available, you can get the stable full-stock firmware and the OTA zip. Although it is easy via the Samsung Members app, there may be more ways to unofficially get the One UI 6 OTA update.
The second beta comes with Build ZWI8. New in the third beta is One UI 6 with build update ZWIA. You need to rename.bin to.zip into the adb folder, which can be installed using Odin. Firmware is not without issues. Samsung might be unable to install the kid’s app on the latest beta, and Google Assistant might fail to trigger with the swipe-up gesture.
In addition, there are several new features and enhancements, including the redesigned Quick Settings panel, fonts, emoji, iconography, a camera update, and much more.
