Well, we already have dedicated grocery stores where you can purchase your daily needs directly from the web. Their quality and pricing are subject to market trends, with potential discount coupons. But now, to cover the local market online, the Delhi government has taken the initiative to deliver local needs to Delhi citizens.
Moreover, they have planned everything for the e-portal called Dilli Bazaar. The ministry held a meeting, analysed the entire need, and, after a long discussion, announced the final decision to start the e-shopping portal in December 2022. To let you know more, below we have covered the full announcement.
Delhi CM Launches E-Shopping Portal “Dilli Bazaar” Starting from December
Whenever we look at India, some dedicated states take the initiative to better their citizens’ lives. Among them, the Delhi government also tries to make their UT citizens’ lives better. As you know, Delhi’s road rage and busy life act as hurdles to doing daily necessary tasks, including purchasing groceries.
According to CM Arvind Kejriwal, Dilli Bazaar will offer up to 10,000 front shops from the beginning. Also, all sellers will be verified by the association. Additionally, the purchaser can see a lot of variety in products with price comparisons listed by sellers. The whole operation of Dilli Bazaar will be managed by a third-party agency.
Moreover, Dilli Bazaar is a dedicated platform offering sellers the opportunity to trade widely and buyers the opportunity to purchase from Delhi’s major shops from the comfort of their homes. Like every e-shopping portal, it has a filter search option to ease the buying process. The CM aimed to ease citizens’ lives in the city’s rigid business environment. So, be ready—the portal will go live in December.
