Samsung recently announced its S23 Series globally, and the device has received updates with new features. Good Lock is one of the most popular modules developed by Samsung to allow users to customize their devices more and enhance their experience with their own choice.
There are many great modules available to download. You can check them out and download them from our Telegram channel. However, Camera Assistant is a great tool that allows us to customise the camera on our device. So, let’s check what this Camera Assistant update brings to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series and other Galaxy smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Receives Camera Assistant with New Feature
Devices running with OneUI 5.1 can use the latest camera assistant feature, as this camera module is only available on Samsung’s premium devices and not on low-end devices due to hardware limitations. This list includes devices that support the latest Camera Assistant feature:
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Series
- Samsung Galaxy S21 Series
- Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Series
- Samsung Galaxy Fold 1, Fold 3, and Fold 4
What is New in the Latest Camera Assistant?
Starting with highlighting, this camera assistant has a soft photo texture, several shots when setting the time, and coincidence.
- Picture softening: This will allow users to capture a smooth picture with detailed and transparent textures. It has three different intensity levels: 0%, 50%, and 100%, so that you can choose the Soft Photo texture level according to your preference.
- Quick-tap shutter: The number of shots when setting the timer means it will take a certain number of photos with a single shoot button. However, you can also use the record button to shoot GIFs, high-speed continuous shooting, and movie recording.
- Capture speed: Now, you can prioritize the capturing speed, including image quality and shooting speed selection. However, the faster shutter will capture a native resolution on the Galaxy S22 Series and a higher resolution on the Galaxy S23 Series. It is recommended to disable Auto HDR and Shooting for Camera Assistance.
- Multi-photo: You can set how many pictures you want when you click the capture button, and it will start clicking the images continuously at regular shooting intervals without pressing the shoot button again. You can choose between 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 options for the number of pictures after time has been added to the shooting intervals.
- Dim Screen while recording: So, if you want to shoot for a long period of time, this could really be helpful since it allows you to dim your screen brightness level. We only recommend using it when you need to shoot a video for more than 1–10 minutes.
Apart from these updates, there are plenty of features like Auto HDR, Auto lens switching, Video Recording in Photo Mode, Number of Pictures after Timer, Camera Timeout, and Clean Preview on HDMI Display. To know more about the Camera Assistant, head over to Samsung Community.
