We are accustomed to updating our drivers on PCs, but on mobile devices, we must rely on the Android OEM to roll out the update to update our devices. Android smartphones don’t have a very good track record of updating Android devices. Since Android device users have used their devices for years, updating drivers without root access and OEM support becomes more important.

Thanks to the Adreno Tool, users can now update their graphics drivers despite some Android users’ adoption of custom ROMs, but it’s not for regular users. Today we will be sharing AdrenoTool, through which you can update your Android device’s graphics driver without rooting.

Android Smartphone Graphics Driver Update:

If you are wondering why it is important to update the graphics driver on your Android device, it is because updating the GPU driver helps you fix various bugs, which leads to improved graphics performance. According to reports, Google is working on a similar project with Android OEMs. Google plans to roll out a major GPU driver by collaborating with the module architecture of mobile hardware, including ARM and Qualcomm.

They are working on updating their GPU drivers via the Play Store. We can assume that in the future, more and more OEMs will start delivering graphics drivers through the app store.

The Andreno Tool can be downloaded.

This tool was developed under the XDA Senior Member Bylaw to modify or replace the Android GPU driver without root access. This is an open-source project called Skyline. You can check out the Andreno Tool online at their GitHub repository.
