Call of Duty Mobile officially launched on October 3rd last year. Since day 1st, it has broken the record of PUBG Mobile with the most downloaded game in just a day and a month. The game recently crossed the most downloaded game, PUBG Mobile, with 250 million downloads worldwide in less than 8 months.
The game is officially available on both Android and iOS, respectively. Sensor Tower will monitor the application and press releases about Call of Duty Mobile. The game is gaining much popularity across the US and Indian regions. The US itself contributes 18% of Download itself.
Call of Duty Mobile generates 78% more revenue than PUBG Mobile.
According to reports, Call of Duty Mobile generates almost $327 globally. In contrast, this amount was 78% more than PUBG Mobile players used to spend on the game, which suggested players were likely to purchase the season pass, character outfits, and more such rewards in the game.
Furthermore, players from the US spent $134 million individually, followed by Japan and Brazil. Additionally, the Call of Duty Mobile players in those 8 months of the meantime and the reason for the treasonous growth is due to the novel Coronavirus situation for the last four months.
“The game is also one of many that have seen a steady uptick in revenue amid the global COVID-19 pandemic. With player spending consistently rising, Call of Duty: Mobile looks to be on track for a stellar first year,” said Sensor Tower.
CALL OF DUTY MOBILE SURPASS PUBG MOBILE AND FORTNITE
Since day 1, Call of Duty Mobile has become an instant hit. Since there were high-quality and no-lag-based devices, on Day 1, the game faced massive server-based traffic due to much traffic beyond expectations. The game most downloaded was in the US, followed by India and Brazil.
Not to mention, Call of Duty Mobile was officially developed and published by Activision in partnership with Tencent Gaming. Likely, the game received 172 million downloads in the first 2 months of the launch period.
