Xiaomi replaces its logo with a “Made in India” banner in wake of anti-China sentiments.

Due to the tension between India and China over the LAC (Line of Actual Control), people in India aggressively promote products made in India. However, some reports were suggesting some groups of people were actually destroying public property amidst the losses of Indian people, so they ran businesses in India.

Meanwhile, before anything happens to the Xiaomi Store in India, they have taken a step to inform people about them. Suggesting this step is practical, as the Make in India and Made in India banners replace the Xiaomi logo.

According to the All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA) circular, Xiaomi reportedly removed its logo from its retail store. Meanwhile, it has a bold logo reads “Made in India.” Xiaomi’s Make in India initiative serves more than 99% of smartphones, and Mi TV, 65% of resources for the smartphone were sourced locally, 30,000+ employees and 95% of the workforce was women.
