Uninstall apps in Windows 11 from the Start Menu.
Microsoft has made uninstalling bloatware and other apps easy. There are several ways to do this, and we will start with uninstalling apps from the Start menu. Whether it is a third-party, unremovable, or built-in (universal) app does not matter.
- Open the Windows Start menu by clicking on the Windows button.
- After that, look for your app by clicking on All Apps or searching for it.
- Once you find the app you want to uninstall, right-click its icon.
- Then select the Uninstall option and confirm your action to uninstall the app.
It is a quick and handy method to uninstall apps from the Start menu. It works great when you have an app from the Microsoft Store, but if you have a non-Microsoft Store app, it will redirect you to the classic Programmes and Features page in the Control Panel, where you can locate and select the app you want to remove.
You must click on the app and then click on the Uninstall button that appears in the upper-right corner of its entry. Click on it to confirm your action and proceed with the uninstallation.

Uninstall Windows 11 apps using PowerShell.
Like uninstalling apps from CMD, PowerShell allows you to uninstall system apps like Cortana, Camera, Clock, and Get Help that do not have an uninstall option. Here are the instructions.
- Open PowerShell as an administrator in Windows Search.
- Enter Get-AppPackage, select Name, PackageFamilyName, and hit Enter. This will show you a list of apps with their package names.
- Next, enter the command Get-AppxPackage PROGRAMMEME-NAME | Remove-AppxPackage, where you must replace PROGRAMMEME-NAME with the app you want to uninstall. For example, if you want to uninstall the camera, its system name is Microsoft. Windows Camera is listed in the list.
- After writing the app name or ID like this: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsCamera | Remove-AppxPackage hit Enter. This will proceed to uninstall the app, and that is it—the app is no longer on your computer.
