A device running iOS 12.4 or higher is required to transfer your data. Transferring data from one iPhone to another without requiring iTunes or iCloud is possible. This article gives some advice on moving the settings, apps and more from your current device to your new one. There is also a requirement for a wireless network.
Prerequisite:
- Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable are required to connect both devices.
- USB cable and Lighting Cable are needed to connect the two devices.
- Transferrable data that I can send.
- This method will simplify the process of transferring all of your data.
The application will copy the entire iTunes library including encrypted data, so your photos, music, apps, and settings can be synced.
- Here it is.
- Setup can be started by pressing the up arrow on your device.
- The old iPhone shows a message saying “Setup New iPhone.”. Continue by clicking “Continue”.
- When the QR code appears on the iPhone, the old device opens a “Scanner”.
- Your old device must be scanned with the QR code for the transfer to begin.
- This is done by swiping the Passcode from your old iPhone onto your new one.
- Depending on your computer, data transfer may take a few minutes.
- After receiving your new device, you are then presented with a Face ID registration screen.
- Select Continue after it has finished.
- Once you have set up your Face ID, you will be prompted to “Transfer your data”.
- You must agree to the terms and conditions after clicking “Transfer from iPhone.”
- Select the Apple Watch or Apple Pay setup. Click: Continue.
- Choosing between “Share with App Developers” or “Don’t share” will bring up the “App Analytics” window.
- As a result, it starts transferring and does not interrupt until the transfer is complete.
- It will take time depending on the network and data speeds.
- Now that’s all! Start charging the new device by restarting it.
Once the new iPhone is installed, the old apps and wallpapers will be downloaded. All of the data from the old iPhone will be restored as well as all of the settings and other items, like photos.
The following technique doesn’t require iCloud or iTunes; all features, including Profile and Settings, are the same, whereas Apple wallet is the only security requirement. Here is an article I hope you will find useful. Keep checking in for future updates and thanks for being with us.
