Pubg Mobile has joined the 118 List of Chinese applications that was banned by the government of India, Not to mention this is one of the most popular and addictive Games across the world. However, this list was issued today by the Ministry of Information and Technology, which clearly mentioned this was an extension of the earlier issue 59 Chinese application active in India.
“Under Section 64A, they are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace, The compilation of these data, its mining and profiling by elements hostile to national security and defence of India, which ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India, is a matter of very deep and immediate concern which requires emergency measures,”. -Ministry of electronic and information technology.
Meanwhile, this list continues with the PUBG Mobile and Pubg Mobile Lite, both the Game alongside 118 Chinese applications. According to GOI, these applications were allegedly sharing the Indian data to different countries targeting China. Additionally, this list was recommended by the Home Ministry of Affair. Whereas, these applications could be a compromise Indian national security.
So, Considering this recommendation, GOI has finally banned the 118 application, including PUBG Mobile. Meanwhile, pubg has 33 Million active users in India over 50 Million Downloads. Recently, there was a lot of criticism going around on various social networking, and there were people who file FIR because the Game was very addictive and cross-age people losing lives for various reasons.

This has to be a concern that everyone nowadays has play PUBG mobile not only children but cross aged group. Even more, there was an industry that will be disturbed as the Game consider to be a benchmark people used to by gaming phone. Not to mention, this is definitely going to be disturbed by the Gaming Industry of India for a while. The ban suggested being be no longer working on the region. Hence this gone for a while.
Pubg Mobile seems to be one of the most popular smartphone games in India. However, recently, Call of Duty Mobile also ditched with Tecent due to recent Chinese tension concerns. Meanwhile, Pubg was also pushing hard not to be on the list, but due to a heavy involvement of Chinese funding, it seems to be PUBG also using the Hindi text in their promotion image.
The government of India continues with banned the primary Chinese application in India. However, Pubg Ban, alongside the other 118 Applications those belong to Chinese origin or investment. GOI (Ministry of Electronics and Information technology) release a list if 118 application includes PUBG Mobile.
Furthermore, GOI of India has released there 59 Chinese application list for the application of those which concern to ban in India with the pre-release of the list. Moreover, PUBG Mobile got to be ban alongside PUBG Mobile Lite so far.

Therefore, players belong to PUBG Mobile on iPhone doesn’t able to play the game due to improper matchmaking so far. Meanwhile, these applications most likely to be removed from Google Play Store and App store so far, and soon, the game isn’t going to be work at all.
The reason behind to ban 118 application was quite similar to the ban of TikTok as SHEIN and WeChat so far. The government of India says, “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order.” Meanwhile, there were quite identical games that you can try, such as the Call of Duty Mobile, Rise of kingdoms, Arena of Valor, Garena Free Fire, and Art of conquest.
