Super VOOC Charging goes from zero to 100 in 35 minutes
Oppo designed and Developed its Own Fast Charging technology, Known as VOOC. VOOC stands for Voltage Open Loop Multi-Step Constant-Current Charging.
The Basic Principle of charging a Device is to put the Energy into a Battery, Where Power is measured by watts. The higher the amount of Watt the FST can battery Charge. A Normal USB 2.0 Port Work on 5V and 0.5A (2.5W), 5V and 2A Generate 10W. Fast Charger carries 9V and 1.67A to Generate 15W. Oppo VOOC uses 5V and 4A (20W) While Other Fast charging chargers use 9V and 1.67A (15W).
The smartphone battery is charged in Two Steps, The Device First charges up to 80% in Step First and then another 20% in the Second Step. The SuperVOOC flash charging Can Charge Oppo Find X comes With a 3730mAh Batter 0 to 100% in 35 minutes Which Uses 50W. Hence, The Device Charged 50% in 15 Min Which is the First Step. In the Second Step, it takes 75% in 20Min, and 92% in Half Hour. Super VOOC Charging goes from zero to 100 in 35 minutes
The Oppo SuperVOOC works on Both MicroUSB and USB Type-C, Oppos Says it Directly transfers the Power to the battery Without any Voltage Conversion. It Doesn’t mean that it is Unsafe Oppo uses 5 levels of protection layering from the adapter to the port and interior of the phone.
The VOOC use High Voltage which raises the temperature to around 8 degrees Celsius or more, whereas Oppo replaced the Voltage-reducing circuit with an MCU. Which Helps to prevent our device from Overheating While Charging.
SuperVOOC charging needs to be designed to support end-to-end Solutions, Because the battery, is divided into Two Two battery Cells. This helps to double the charging Capacity, Super VOOC Charge Itself With 10V/5A.
Super VOOC is only exclusively available for Oppo Smartphones till Now, But Oppo Sister Company Using this Technology in their Devices. Oneplus is Dash Charging, Vivo is Dual Engine Fast Charging and Realme Will also Use this Technology in their Upcoming Devices. Which is Simply Sharing VOOC Technology.
