Samsung Internet Browser is one of the great browsers packed with many features, including an ad blocker, and it is a great alternative to Google Chrome. People love it because it offers a desktop-like tab appearance and add-ons like an ad blocker. The company has started rolling out new features, including the release of the beta version of Samsung Internet, to improve app usability and redesign the tab bar. On the Samsung Internet browser, tabs take up less space on the screen, making it easier to switch between them.

The beta version of the Samsung Internet browser adds features to the bookmark bar, tab bar, and URL on both mobile and tablet. As Samsung constantly focuses on making its apps and UI/UX easier to use with one hand, the browser keeps evolving and becoming more important than ever. To make it feel more native to Samsung’s Core OneUI Design, the customizable menu bar has been moved to the bottom of the screen on Samsung Internet, giving users more functionality and making it easier to use the most frequently used actions.

What’s New in Samsung Internet Beta V21.0.0.25

Starting with a new bookmark bar, the tab bar can now be moved to the bottom of the app. We have seen in the past that Google has been experimenting with functionality to move the address bar to the bottom of Chrome, but it has yet to be made available in the stable version of Chrome. This feature is a welcome change for many Samsung Internet browser users. To use this feature, navigate to the browser settings and go to Layout and Menu. You can enable these features from the Bookmark Bar and the Tabs Bar, which appear just above the URL bar at the bottom (if you allow the bottom URL bar).

To access more features, you can long-press on bookmarks and the bookmark bar to access more options. For example, if you long-press on the bookmark bar, you can open it in a new tab, in a new window, in secret mode, edit it, copy the link, or delete it. As for long-pressing on the tab bar, you can choose options like close the tab, close all other tabs, close all tabs, move the tab, open it in a new tab, or open it in a new window.

Previously, the tab URL bar was only available at the top of the screen and was the default, but now you can move it to the bottom of the app from the Layout and Menu option in the browser settings. This feature was previously available for some Samsung users but is now available for all users as it goes live. This update makes the app download size 110.52 MB, and the update will likely roll out quite soon to the stable version of the Samsung Internet browser.
