Changing the DNS server

Specifically, if error 769 (Teleport Failed: Unknown Error) occurs because of an unstable DNS range, you can resolve this issue by migrating to a more stable DNS address. A popular option is Google DNS, but there are other viable options available.

  1. First, Navigate to the Control Panel.
  2. Then After, Click on Network and Internet.
  3. Choose Network and Sharing Center.
  4. On the left panel, click “Change adapter settings”.
  5. Choose your network from the right-click menu.
  6. Go to the Properties tab.
  7. Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”.
  8. Click on Properties.
  9. Please use the following DNS server addresses:
  10. Enter this value under “Preferred DNS server:”
    1.1.1.1
  11. Enter this value under “Alternate DNS server:”
    1.0.0.1
  12. Close the setup window.

Also: Flush DNS using CMD as administrator by searching for it on your computer.

  1. Copy and paste the following command:
    netsh winsock reset
  2. Then, press Enter and wait for a success message.
  3. Copy and paste the following command:
    ipconfig /flushdns
  4. Enter the command and wait for the success message.
  5. Now, Restart your computer after closing CMD.

Running Game Manager as administrator

  • Go to your desktop and choose Game Manager.
  • Then After, Right-click and select Run as administrator.
  • On the window that pops up, click Yes.
  • From the newly appeared context menu, right-click on GameManager.exe and select Properties
  • Click the Compatibility tab.
  • Select the option “Run this program as administrator.”
  • Click the OK button
