Under the hood, the device is powered by Huawei in-house kirin 990 Soc same used in the Huawei Flashing Mate 30 series, which launched last year in September 2019.

However, a recent report published suggests the device going to be powered by Huawei’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 985 Soc, which launched back in 2018. Not to mention, it not a bad processor either, but we don’t know how much honor we’re going to deal with it. That means the Honor 30 series has been powered by Kirin 990 Soc.

We believe the Kirin 980 going to perform well due to it based on the latest Kirin 990 Soc architecture. These both chipsets were quite identical to each other, even they have upgraded the ISP for an immersive experience.

In terms of camera performance, the device going to housing a Sony IMX-7 series most likely to offer a Sony IMX786 camera sensor. On the other hand, the device possibly comes with an AMOLED Display. Notably, the camera module accomplished by Triple camera sensor.

As the device will launch initially in china on April 15th. It will be an online live event due to the global outbreak of coronavirus epidemic. In contrast, the soc of the device integrated with a 5G connectivity modem. Unfortunately, there are no further details available as far as we know.
