Recently, Samsung announced its new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite. Today, we decided to compare smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. The Mi Note 10 comes with a 7P lens, a penta-camera, and a 108MP primary sensor, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with a 12MP triple camera setup on the back.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is powered by the latest Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 9810 SoC, clocked at 2.7 GHz, coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 10-based Custom Skin OneUI 2.0 out of the box.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, which has 8 cores and clocks at 2.3 GHz. This device can be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and a 256GB storage option. It runs on the latest Android Pie with EMUI 10 out of the box.
Camera
In terms of the rear camera, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Penta camera setup at the back uses a 108 MP Samsung S5KHMX main sensor, 20 MP Sony IMX350 wide angle, 12 MP Samsung S5K2L7 depth, 5 MP OmniVision OV08A10 telephoto, and a 2 MP macro sensor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a 12MP f/1.7 primary (dual-pixel AF) and OIS, a 12MP F/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto lens.
In terms of the selfie camera, the Mi Note 10 has a 32 MP selfie camera, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with a 32 MP selfie camera. Both devices get perfect selfies.
Display
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole display at the top and an S-Pen with Air Command Support. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 sports a 6.47-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a pixel density of 398 PPI. It is an AMOLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.05%.
Battery
Further, the Xiaomi Mi Note comes with a massive 5,260mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging support,
Price
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura Red colour options. The device will go on sale at the end of Q1 of 2020, and it will be priced at €649 and €599. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10’s starting price tag is €450/$502,
Sensors and connectivity
The device’s sensors include an accelerometer, scanner, gyro sensor, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, proximity sensor, and RGB light sensor. So, the smartphone’s connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.0. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and there is a USB-C port that supports fast charging.
