Miui Launcher on Xiaomi Smartphones has not changed a lot over the past several years. But the upcoming update will bring one of the most requested features soon. Reconnect. The same happens with Realme’s ColorOS. They also feature a new app drawer in their custom skin. Looks like Xioami realizes that app drawer functionality is one of the most important things as well.
First of all, let’s check out the latest feature that’s coming to Miui Launcher. First thing First Miui Launcher is getting an App Drawer. Yeah, it means that you no longer scroll through your app on HomeScreen and make it Cutter Free. Therefore, this feature isn’t enabled by default, but you have to activate it manually. The steps are really simple.
How can you enable the app drawer in Miui Launcher?
- Download and install the Alpha version of Miui Launcher.
- Long-tap on your home screen and select Settings.
- Jump into the More Option.
- Here you will find some Chinese text. Click on it and select the second option.
After you are done with that, go back to your home screen, and hurray! You Successfully Get the App Drawer with a Little Middle App Drawer icon. The app drawer shows the recent apps followed by your installed apps. Swipe down to close it. I know it doesn’t work fluently, and the app icon is missing as well. In other words, these features are currently in Alpha and will be fixed later in an upcoming version.
