WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging services, and today WhatsApp announced a new feature. You can now delete sent messages even after 2 days, and it is pretty handy to delete news in a specific scenario.
When this feature was first introduced, it took 8 minutes. Previously, WhatsApp only allowed you to delete a message within 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds, but now it’s been updated to 2 days and 12 hours. Use this feature on Android and iOS; update your WhatsApp through the Google PlayStore and App Store, respectively.

On the other hand, Apple recently introduced unsend functionality on iOS 16 Beta, which was limited to 15 minutes, and recently, with an update, it’s been reduced to under 2 minutes. Apart from this, many more features are coming, like group admins being able to remove users’ messages. They are competing against Telegram to allow users to drag and edit messages without any limits.
