How to Fix the COD Vanguard Vivacious Error on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC

This error is triggered when a player isn’t be able to connect with the server.

Restart your console.

With this, you can rectify the Vivacious error code. Simply restart your console.

How to restart the Xbox.

  • Hold down the power button on your Xbox until it turns off.
  • Unplug and replug the power cable.
  • Next, press the power button to turn on the Xbox.

How to Restart a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation 5.

  • Hold down the power button on your PlayStation console until you hear a “beep twice” sound and the console turns off.
  • Unplug the power cable and wait 20 seconds before plugging it back in.
  • Now wait for it to turn on.

Check the COD Vanguard Server.

Sometimes, due to a server outage, it’s possible it’s a global issue and will be back online after some time. Also, due to maintenance, the server might be offline. You can check the Vanguard Realtime Stats on their Twitter and website.

Power cycle your router.

If you are still facing the same issue, then your internet connection might not be working. For this, you can reboot your router.

  • Turn off the router from the power switch or wall.
  • Wait for 20 seconds, and then turn on the router from the wall.
  • It takes some time to finish the boot; once it is finished, launch the game and check.

Check for the device’s internal connection

Check your internet connection; due to a bad internet connection, you might encounter this issue. It requires active and stable internet connectivity to run the game smoothly.

  • Test your internet connectivity on the PlayStation.
  • Go to the PlayStation Home screen.
  • Navigate to Settings and then Network.

Test your Internet connectivity on Xbox.

  • Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select Profile & System.
  • Navigate to Settings, then General.
  • Next, select Network & Settings, followed by Test Network Connection.
  • From there, simply run the test.

Scan and repair Vanguard game files on PC.

If you are still encountering the issue with your PC, then there is a high chance your game file got corrupted. 

  • Launch the Battle.net launcher.
  • Navigate to the Game Library and select COD Vanguard.
  • Next, click the gear icon to the right of the Play button.
  • From there, choose Scan and Repair, and it will start scanning.
