Today Krafton, the South Korean Developer of PUBG Mobile, unveiled a new gaming title, “Battleground Mobile India,” exclusive for India. The game uses the Indian Flag Color scheme in its title and depicts PUBG Mobile India. Krafton needs to launch the game in India as India is the World’s Second largest Gaming Industry.

In recent time, PUBG pulled back the Lite and did not allow Indian Players to play PUBG Mobile In India and announced PUBG Mobile Koreana and Japanese version would not be playable in India due to Server Outage faced by the regional player. However, PUBG PC still playable in India legally.

Meanwhile, the original title “PUBG Mobile” was banned alongside 200 other Chinese apps due to national security concerns. To ensure this, Krafton has taken major steps, including cutting ties with Tencent as a Publishing partner, Partnership with Microsoft, which invested $100 Million in India’s Mobile Gaming Ecosystem. Therefore, Krafton didn’t conduct any official meeting with New Delhi, so currently, they don’t have to release any statement about approval.
On the other hand, PUBG Mobile has more than 50 Million Monthly active users and 10 Million Monthly active users before being banned in India. It was one of the most popular free-to-play multiplayer games. According to Sensor Tower Report, Indian has over 175 Million Downloads for the game.

There isn’t any confirmation about whether you can port your old game ID from PUBG Mobile to Battleground Mobile India.
