Before the launch, Senior Director Myke Hoff clarified that, due to technical issues, there’s no controller support at the moment. But don’t fret—the plans include exclusive controller support for both Android and iOS. Developers understand that most players prefer using a controller over a crawl grip. Keeping this in mind, they’ve promised to introduce controller support and are actively working on it.
Just like controller support, Apex Legends Mobile also doesn’t support any emulation software. Developers say that using emulator software attracts hackers, making the game unfair. To improve the user experience, they are in talks with Google to introduce a native mobile emulator for PC, allowing you to play Apex Legends Mobile without third-party emulators.
Moreover, the developers have added “button remapping” options, allowing several adjustment settings for smartphones and tablets. If you’re eagerly waiting for controller support and emulation software, hang tight! Apex Legends also features a royale pass system similar to BGMI and COD. Official controller support is expected to roll out at some point in 2022.
