How to use Android 11’s back tap gesture on any Android device

Thanks to Quninny899, well-known developer Kieron Quinn. Who developed this Tap, Tap an app and it works on Android device based on Android 7.0 Nougat or higher. Although, the app seems quite useful to allow to access the tap on the rear-panel of any Android device.

This app uses the device’s accelerometer and gyroscope sensor, Which recognize the tap by using the combination of machine learning. In which the high-pass and a low-pass filter in order to refine the sensitivity.

  • Simply download and install the Tap, Tap application on your Android device and then enable the Accessibility service from the device settings.
  • After enabling, select your device model from the gesture settings.
  • Not to mention, If the device “Display Turned off” Tap, Tap doesn’t work.
