It has also been observed that if you disable the V-Sync option in the game, then it will surely fix the Deathloop Error 0xC0000005 access violation. Initially, V-Sync does not work in-game, even if you switch on the in-game options. As such, it will be disabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel. However, all of this will continue if you select the optimal settings for the Deathloop while using GeForce Experience software. Moreover, to enable the V-Sync option without crashing the game, check out the below steps.

Note: In Deathloop’s in-game settings, turn off V-sync and set the frame rate to 120 fps (or any number that must be above 60).

  • First, head to 3D Settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Now, click on the “+” icon appearing under the 3D Settings option on the left side of the screen.
  • Then, click on Manage 3D Settings.
  • Next, head to the Programme Settings tab.
  • Following this, select Deathloop from the list and choose a program to customize.
  • Now, set the refresh rate according to your PC’s compatibility.
  • Then enable V-Sync.

If any user does not use NVIDIA and instead uses AMD Radeon Graphics, then they can follow the below steps.

  • Launch the AMD Adrenalin application.
  • Next, head to the “Gaming” tab.
  • Now, choose the “Global Graphics” menu.
  • Then, click on the “Radeon Chill” feature.
  • Next, set the maximum FPS to at least 60.
  • Now enable V-Sync to always be on.

After enabling the V-Sync feature on your specific graphic card, you need to make some changes to your Deathloop settings, which are given below:

Note: The FPS limit must be set to at least 60 under In-Game Settings, and it is not necessary to set it to 120. But make sure to set it at the highest possible rate.

  • First, launch the Deathloop app.
  • Now, choose “Options” from the main menu.
  • Then, head to the “Visuals” tab.
  • Next, choose “off” under the V-Sync option.
  • Then, set 120 as a limit in the FPS Limiter.
  • Hence, your Deathloop Error 0xC0000005 access violation will be fixed.

Collectively, all these steps will prevent the game from crashing and causing a Deathloop Error 0xC0000005 access violation. And, along with that, you can get the benefit of the V-Sync feature.
